AWARD RECOGNITION
Our award-winning expertise and focus on quality has helped us gain recognition as an award-winning firm by many industries. In fact, during the past five years, Braun Intertec has won more than 20 state and national awards for select projects, facilities and safe work practices.
State and national recognition.
Braun Intertec was named “Firm of the Year” by the Minnesota Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies in 2009. Soon after, our popular industry newsletter, The Pocket Consultant, earned a national marketing award because of our dedication to educating clients about geotechnical engineering and testing practices. Our Analytical Laboratory has also won numerous awards for its commitment to excellence during the past several years. Additionally, throughout our more than 54-year history, we have been recognized for our work on wind farms, municipal and commercial facilities, holding and stormwater ponds, pavement management, and pipeline expansions.
ACEC/MN Grand Award - Central Corridor Light Rail Transit Project
Although the CCLRT project is still under construction, Braun Intertec was recognized in 2011 by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota for its innovative reporting methods used during the environmental portion of the Central Corridor Light Rail Transit line project. For this project, Braun Intertec developed and implemented a searchable “Central Hub” of project reports called Braun InterportSM Custom for the 11-mile rail line, successfully containing more than 65,000 unique data sheets.
Minneapolis I-35W Bridge Awards
In 2010, Braun Intertec garnered a number of awards for our deep foundations work on the new I-35W bridge in downtown Minneapolis. These include a “Seven Wonders of Engineering” award from the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers, a “Special Recognition Award” from the Deep Foundations Institute and an “Honor Award” from the Minnesota Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies.
