DRILLING
Whether you need drilling services for a geotechnical evaluation, environmental services, mineral exploration or contract-specific services for individual projects, drilling has been at the core of Braun Intertec services for more than five decades.
Extensive drilling capabilities at your service.
Using a large diversified fleet of drill rigs, we provide a wide range of soil, rock, environmental and contract drilling services on nearly any terrain. To see which rig works the best for your project, read more about our drilling fleet.
All-terrain, truck and skid rigs offer versatility and horsepower in most landscapes.
Our well-maintained drilling fleet includes truck-mounted, all-terrain (ATV) and skid-mounted rigs that are used for a variety of drilling projects. Drilling on your wooded, uneven site is not a problem with ATV rigs, and by using the flotation tired-rigs, we are able to minimize surface damage to your site. The versatility of our track rigs makes it possible to drill year-round on your site even when conditions are soft, deeply snow-covered or swampy. With our skid and Geoprobe® rigs, we can perform probes and auger borings in tight areas. We can even meet your specific needs for barge-mounted drilling in locations over water or push-probe drilling inside an existing building.
More rigs, more scheduling control.
Because we have an in-house fleet of rigs, you’ll benefit from improvements in cost estimating, greater scheduling control and dedicated time to the job. Through our master electronic scheduling system, our schedulers can review the availability of the whole fleet and work with you to get our equipment where you need it and when you need it.
Safety in the field is essential.
Our drilling staff has current Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training and a broad understanding of drilling procedures and specifications, including American Standards of Testing Materials (ASTM), Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and various state and federal requirements. In addition, our drillers receive regular training to maintain and further their knowledge of safety, soils classification and drilling techniques.
Our drilling certifications. Our drill crew members maintain the following licenses and certifications necessary to provide you with the high level of service that your project requires.
- Licensed Monitor Well Contractor (ND, SD, IA, MN)
- Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA)
- Hazardous Waster Operation and Emergency Response 29CFR 1910.120
