Our founder began providing soil testing services from his residential
garage as Regional Engineering Services.
1966
Soil Engineering Services, Inc., was incorporated, and the business property
of Regional Engineering Services was transferred to the new company.
1974
The name of the company was changed to Braun Engineering Testing, Inc.
1980
Braun Engineering Testing of North Dakota, Inc., was incorporated as a
subsidiary.
1981
Braun Environmental Laboratories, Inc., was incorporated as a subsidiary.
1983
Braun Engineering Testing of Montana, Inc., incorporated as a subsidiary.
1987
Braun Engineering Testing, Inc., purchased the stock of Midwest Pavement
Management, Inc., and changed the name of the company to Braun Pavement Technologies, Inc.
1990
Incorporation of Braun Intertec Corporation, an administrative services company,
and an operating company, Braun Intertec Engineering, Inc. (which took over the business of Braun
Engineering Testing, Inc., Braun Engineering Testing of Montana, Inc., and Braun Engineering Testing
of North Dakota, Inc.). The names of Braun Environmental Laboratories, Inc., and Braun Pavement
Technologies, Inc., were changed to Braun Intertec Environmental., Inc., and Braun Intertec Pavement,
Inc., respectively.
Braun Intertec Engineering, Inc., purchased the assets of the Oregon-based firm of Northwest Testing
Laboratories, Inc., and transferred them to a newly incorporated subsidiary, Braun Intertec Northwest,
Inc.

Consolidation of operating companies under Braun Intertec Corporation
to create a unified, single, operating company that effectively competes and makes services
available to clients.
1994
Braun Intertec Corporation enters into a joint venture agreement with
Beijing Yucai Transportation Engineering Consulting and Management Corporation to form Yucai-Braun
Transportation Consulting and Management Ltd., a Chinese company registered in Beijing, PRC.
Braun Intertec de Mexico, S.A. de C.V., is formed as a subsidiary of Braun Intertec Corporation to
provide services in Mexico.
1996
Basys Technologies, Inc., a Minnesota corporation, is formed as a
subsidiary of Cooperation Opportunity, Inc. Braun Intertec Great Lakes, Inc. and merges with Swanson Environmental, Inc., a
Michigan corporation, providing environmental services.
1997
Braun Stanley International, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability
corporation, is formed as a joint venture of Braun Intertec Corporation and Stanley Consultants,
Inc., providing services internationally.
1998
Montana operations of Braun Intertec sold to SK Geotechnical Corporation.
1999
Basys Technologies, Inc., is sold to Biorem Technologies
Inc., a Canadian company. The Oregon operations of Braun Intertec are sold to
Professional Service Industries, Inc. Stack testing operation of Braun Intertec in
Minnesota are sold to Mostardi Platt Associates, Inc.
2000
Industrial and energy divisions of environmental consulting
operations of Braun Intertec sold to HDR Engineering, Inc. Braun Intertec services
relating to data collection surveys for road system evaluations (ICON) sold to Goodpoint
Technologies, Inc.
