Braun Intertec was retained to assist with construction of The Richland Hospital, Inc., a $15 million multi-story health care facility.

Working in conjunction with Conlon Construction, we provided inspection and materials testing for this new multi-story hospital on property with soil problems.

Challenges

We needed to confirm that the deep foundation system was constructed properly. To address this issue, our experienced personnel inspected and observed construction of caissons.

Solutions

We utilized engineering techniques to determine competency of bedrock that supported the hospital.

Our team provided turnkey quality control services throughout the life of the project with our International Code Council (ICC) certified personnel guiding the construction of this large project in conformance with specifications. Our full-time, onsite personnel and portable testing laboratory were present at all times to keep the project from having delays on testing or inspections.
