Braun Intertec Launches Scholarship Fund to Support Future Nondestructive Testing Professionals

We've set up the Braun Intertec Scholarship Fund to help recent high school graduates start careers in nondestructive testing (NDT). The fund was created with the Ridgewater College Foundation and supports students in the NDT program on Ridgewater College's Hutchinson, Minnesota, campus.

NDT professionals help keep bridges, buildings, pipelines, and infrastructure safe by inspecting materials without damaging them. Demand for skilled technicians keeps growing, and this scholarship helps students start in the field with less financial pressure.

Why we're investing in NDT education

Our clients count on skilled technical professionals to deliver safe, reliable projects. When we help students early, we help build a stronger workforce for the engineering, testing, inspection, and consulting industries.

"Investing in students is investing in the future of our industry," said Seth Taylor, Senior Vice President at Braun Intertec. "The Braun Intertec Scholarship Fund is intended to expand opportunities for aspiring NDT professionals while supporting Ridgewater College's efforts to prepare students for rewarding technical careers."

How the scholarship helps students
  • Lowers the cost of education so students can focus on building their skills
  • Opens the door to an in-demand technical career with long-term growth potential
  • Connects students with an industry that needs them as the need for qualified NDT technicians keeps growing
