Every year, our employee-owners come together for one of the most anticipated internal events at Braun Intertec: The Braunies. Hosted by our Ownership @ Work Committee, The Braunies are our take on an awards show, one that celebrates what it truly means to be 100% employee-owned.

At its heart, The Braunies are about recognition, appreciation, and culture. Employees across the company are invited to nominate their peers for a variety of awards that reflect our who we are and what we do. From these nominations, two recipients are selected for each award, making the recognition both meaningful and deeply personal.

What makes The Braunies especially memorable is how the celebration comes to life. During the event, a video is broadcast that highlights the award categories, nominees, and winners, sharing stories that showcase the impact our employee-owners have on each other, our projects, and our clients. At the same time, each of our offices hosts its own local celebration, bringing teams together to cheer on their colleagues and share in the fun

While the event is lighthearted and festive, the message behind it is powerful. The Braunies reinforce our ownership culture by recognizing employees who go above and beyond, take initiative, and exemplify what it means to think and act like an owner. Peer-to-peer nominations make this recognition especially meaningful, as they come directly from the people who work alongside one another every day.
