More Than Just a Piece of the Pie: What Employee Ownership Means to Us
At Braun Intertec, employee ownership means much more than sharing in the company’s success. It also means having a real stake in how we work, collaborate, and support one another every day. When employees understand what ownership means and how their work contributes to the bigger picture, it strengthens the culture that makes our company unique.
That’s where the Ownership @ Work (OAW) Committee comes in. This employee-led group helps bring the ownership mindset to life through events, recognition, and education that connect employees to the impact of being an owner.
In celebration of Pi Day (3/14), and the idea that everyone gets a piece of the pie, we sat down with OAW Committee co-chairs Mike, Lance, Jennie, and Kat to talk about what employee ownership means to them. In the video below, they share why understanding ownership matters, how teamwork plays a critical role in our success, and how thinking like an owner shapes the way we approach our work every day.
As our co-chairs shared, employee ownership isn’t just a collective mindset of what it means to be owners. When employees feel invested in the success of the company and each other, it changes how we collaborate, solve problems, and support our clients.
It also reinforces something simple but powerful: when everyone contributes their piece, the whole becomes stronger. And at Braun Intertec, that shared investment is what helps turn individual efforts into collective success.
This Pi Day, we are celebrating the people who make that possible, our employee-owners, because when everyone brings their piece to the table, the whole pie gets better.
