Air Compliance and Applicable Regulation Summary Table for Global Terminal Services Provider
Braun Intertec developed an Air Compliance and Applicable Regulation Summary Table for multiple Client terminal sites. The Applicable Regulation Summary Table was developed by reviewing the Client’s New Source Review and Title V permits and compiling the conditions of the air permits with the applicable state and federal regulatory requirements into one Excel table. The Compliance and Applicable Regulation Summary Table consolidates the applicable air permit and state and federal regulatory requirements into one repository which:
- Identifies and outlines the emissions, design and work practice standards and the associated monitoring, reporting and recordkeeping requirements.
- Summarizes the compliance demonstration activities, the responsible party and the associated record(s) for the compliance activity.
- Distinguishes between regulations which are passive versus those which are an “actionable” compliance activity.
- Summarizes the deadlines and frequencies for monitoring and reporting requirements.
- Provides one master list of all compliance activities required by the air permit and applicable state and federal air compliance regulations.
- Can be utilized to establish the workflow for the implementation of an electronic Environmental Management System (e-EMS).
To support the Client’s new direction of building on its home-grown environmental management system, Braun Intertec assisted with compiling physical and chemical property data for approximately 150 products stored on-site. To compile the required information, Braun Intertec utilized the Client’s repository of safety data sheets (SDSs) for each of its on-site stored products as well as utilizing various handbooks for calculating products’ vapor pressures.
In addition, Braun Intertec supports day-to-day compliance activities, including:
- Recordkeeping and regulatory compliance reports.
- Environmental air permitting assessments for potential products proposed for handling at the terminal.
- Environmental air permitting assessment required as part of the management of change process.
