Braun Intertec provided emergency response oversight and regulatory reporting for a jet fuel release from a bulk storage tank.

Following discovery of the release and initial notification to the regulating authority, Braun Intertec mobilized to the Colorado Springs facility from our Dallas, Texas office and was on-site within 24 hours to support the initial spill response activities. Our focus was to document all abatement activities to contain and stop the release, assess the extent of the impacted area, conduct field screening, and collect soil samples for waste characterization purposes.

Our ability to immediately respond to an out-of-state spill event allowed our client to adequately document the early stages of the release and collect the necessary information to show the regulating authority that the release was being immediately addressed to help prevent the spread of contamination.
