Huber Engineered Woods Rough Site Grading

Braun Intertec was contracted by Huber Engineered Woods in Cohasset, Minnesota to prepare an Environmental Assessment Worksheet, conduct wetland delineation, prepare wetland permitting applications, prepare Section 401 Safe Water Quality Certification, Anti-degradation assessment, cultural resources surveys, Protected Species Evaluations, USFWS and MN DNE eagle nest permits, and regulatory agency coordination. Additionally, this project involved air quality permitting, air dispersion modeling, risk assessment, and environmental review for a proposed oriented stand board facility. The project required the preparation of a PSD permit application, including a Best Available Control Analyses and a PSD ambient air quality analysis. The modeling associated with this facility was particularly challenging in that there were a number of large sources of air emissions in the vicinity of the proposed facility which required evaluation and inclusion in modeling as nearby sources or as increment consuming or expanding sources.
