For more than 15 years Braun Intertec has partnered with a petroleum liquids pipeline and bulk storage client with facilities across the U.S. to provide comprehensive environmental, health, and safety (EHS) services. Our work has included due diligence activities; release assessment, remediation, and monitoring; regulatory compliance permitting, plan development, and reporting; EHS auditing; and spill response support.

Braun Intertec has led multi-phase investigation and remediation efforts for releases of refined petroleum products at active terminal and pipeline locations. Using advanced soil and groundwater characterization techniques, including high-resolution vertical profiling, we accurately delineated subsurface impacts while maintaining uninterrupted operations.

Based on site-specific conditions, Braun Intertec designed and implemented tailored remediation approaches that combined mechanical and in situ technologies such as targeted excavation, vacuum extraction, injection-based treatments, and integrated air sparge/soil vapor extraction systems. Where appropriate, we also applied risk-based approaches to focus remedial efforts, support site management decisions, and achieve regulatory closure at many client sites. Work was completed in close coordination with asset managers and terminal personnel to maintain safe access, minimize operational impacts, and ensure compliance with State regulatory programs. Braun Intertec continues to support the client through long-term monitoring and regulatory reporting, providing a consistent, technically sound pathway toward closure.

To help Client proactively manage risk, maintain regulatory compliance, and uphold safe operating conditions across their facilities, Braun Intertec has provided customized facility audits, permitting, and consulting for air, water, waste compliance, and safety support services such as PHAs, and PSM and RMP evaluation and implementation support.
