Ecology
State and federal regulators typically require project owners to evaluate sites for special concern, threatened, and endangered state or federal listed species (also known as protected species). Braun Intertec performs desktop and on-site evaluations in consultation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and state wildlife agencies to assess your project for suitable habitat and the presence of protected species.
If an initial evaluation discovers the potential for a protected species (or their suitable habitat), we conduct a detailed field survey. This biological assessment is an in-depth examination of how wildlife relates to their habitat on site.
